The Delaney Family threw a carnival-themed birthday for their son’s 4th birthday. Very cute!
Wow. wow. wow. Amelie’s House parties never fail to disappoint! I am smitten with this book party that is full of ‘literary’ details. More here.
What a sweet interpretation of ‘the Awesome Book of Thanks’ for this 2 year old’s birthday. The smash cake is my favorite part. From Cupcakes & Cutlery. (note: link updated)
This party is oozing so much originality and cuteness I can’t handle it (a big thanks to Brooke for making sure I saw it). Yet another creative 2-year-old requested a ‘special’ theme for his birthday…in this case, a BAGEL theme. What’s a creative mom (and aunt) to do? Throw a bagel party, that’s what.
Aunt Erin of Indigo Bunting made bagel-inspired cookies (in plain, everything, sesame and cinnamon) and a bagel toss in the likeness of the birthday boy. Mom of Mount Custard did the rest. They did such a phenomenal job I’m almost pining for a bagel birthday myself.
When a 2 year old requested a ‘trash’ birthday, this mom delivered. Trash as decor, trash-themed attire, and trash pick-upers as favors made this trash party a winner for the birthday boy. From Cakes Likes a Party.
This ‘best friends’ party from Brazil’s Bolo.Balão.Diversão! is super cute. It reminds me of the time in my life when gold half-heart best friends necklaces were in vogue. More here.
Pretty Pink Tulip’s robot-themed party was full of great surprises. The extravaganza was capped off by a visit from the birthday boy’s hero, a Transformer!
Krafty Kym was inspired by Bakerella‘s ice cream cake pops and made her own. Kym‘s on top, Bakerella on bottom.
Clever mom Tamsin gives us some clever ideas for a hungry caterpillar-themed birthday. My favorites? The balloon caterpillar gracing the doorway and the holes she put in all of the food (that the caterpillar ate through). From Project Project.
