Sara's Party Perfect

science party

Sebastian’s science-themed 6th birthday had a ‘periodic table of desert’ that featured einsteins on a stick, an eyeball cake and rice crispy e=mc squares. The boys conducted science experiments that included making slime and snow. So fun! From Chadwick Ct.

Thanks. They are even easier then cake pops. They are white chocolate dipped marshmallows topped with coconut. I drew on the eyes with a frosting pen. I should have used the premade candy eyes available at craft stores–next time.

I like that eyeball cake! I have to make one in May for my son’s birthday party, so I was very interested in this. Great job!

Thanks. The eyeball was a last minute (the night before the party) request from the birthday boy. I was going to make cupcakes. I baked the bottom layer in a cake pan and the top layer in an oven proof bowl. Once I frosted the cake I put two concentric circle cutters on top. I filled the small round cookie cutter with chocolate sprinkles and the larger round cutter with green sparkles. I let them sit for a few moments while I drizzled on the red and then lifted them off.
Have fun with your son’s party.
      Keep Well,
      L
