From Oak House 5.
With summer on the horizon, outdoor birthday parties are getting ready to gear up! I love this art party where the kids got SUPER messy and simply ran through the sprinklers when all was said and done. Mom Hillary strung up canvas with cord and let the kids run wild with paint. Makes me wish my kids had summer birthdays!
Supermom Katie did not overlook any detail for Olivia’s art-themed 2nd birthday. She and her mom created aprons for all the little artists, made a coloring sheet in the birthday girl’s likeness, and baked a rainbow layer cake (all the rage these days!). Way to go, Katie!
As a little girl, this might have been the birthday party of my dreams. Love all the rainbow + unicorn details in this party from Juicy Bits.
I’m pretty sure this circus party has made the blog rounds, but I couldn’t resist sharing at least a tidbit. More information at Spread Love events. (Thanks for sending, Sarah!)
These 5-year olds look as though their birthday wish has come true! An inspired fairy garden party from not my own.
Alannah Rose has turned out yet another birthday party stunner! If you’ve got a rainbow-loving gal in your life, you won’t want to miss this party.
I love the handmade details in this castle party from Gumdrops & Truffles. The crafted shields, dragon piñata (that was ‘slain’ by the guests) and playground-turned-castle are just some of the details you won’t want to miss!
A fun idea for that ‘tween in your life- a mall scavenger hunt birthday. From Jac O’ Lyn Murphy.
Whether you’ve got a yo yo gabba fan in the house or not, you’ll find this 3rd birthday bash inspiring- particularly if you are planning a water-heavy affair. More at
