A sweet celebration for Noah’s first birthday right here. I love the animal cookies in clear, elephant-topped packaging and the sweet peanuts (reminder: all moms should check with fellow moms to make sure there are no peanut allergies!).
threw another winning party for her daughter, a ‘singing and dancing’-themed birthday. that cake!
………..
On a side note, I love what Irene of Bloesem Kids wrote about her son’s last birthday…”I try to live life to the fullest, enjoying each moment, and birthdays play an important part in this for me, not so much throwing big parties but rather standing still and cherishing the moment of yet another year gone by…so we celebrated BIG time with small group…Lode, our eldest, my husband and myself, we ate chocolate cake, sang songs, gave presents…”
I love birthdays (and birthday parties, specifically) because it’s one of those times when life stands still for just a moment. Isn’t that why all of us love to throw parties for our kids? Their childhood flies by, and it’s so nice to have a moment of time to reflect, cherish, and celebrate.
Chelsea shared this astronaut party she threw for her son, Robbie. More right here.
roaaarr….it’s a dinosaur (party)!
Great details from The Blue Shed’s dinosaur birthday party. The fact that it is for a little girl, Rowen, makes it even better! Lots of details you will want to replicate for the dinosaur-obsessed in your life…dinosaur-shaped sandwiches (love the cucumber spine), a dinosaur dig (great idea to keep the sand on a mat), and a homemade pinata full of dinosaur ‘eggs.’ Love it! More from Robin right here.
There seems to be an abundance of beautiful first birthdays for girls this week- very apropos for a lovely spring week here in Nashville. This tea party from Sandy is super cute. I just love the tea pot canvas composed of buttons. All of the details right here.
This first birthday party for Piper drew inspiration from the garden. Sweet butterfly and floral details adorn just about everything. For more of this beautiful party, check out .

Spain’s Nice Party has a great website to poke around for inspiration, even if you aren’t fluent in the language. Last year, I featured a baptism party they put together. See what they’ve been up to (I love the pirate ship cakes) right here.
