spring is in the air
Another pretty spring-themed birthday (for a little girl turning one) from the happy home. ‘Pin the insect on the flower’ game is a cute idea!

A lovely christening celebration table from little sooti.
A very sweet Monet-inspired Art party from Nina. I love the pail full of art supplies and the Parisian touches! More at Les Petits Presents.
If you rolled your eyes just a little bit when you heard ‘Thomas the Train’, I’m right there with you. It’s the love of every toddler boy out there, but ugh!, not exactly the love of every parent. I was SO thrilled, however, to see this beautiful take on a Thomas-themed party from Kelly - so many ideas to inspire!
Activities at the party included bubble fun (mini bottles of bubbles with custom stickers) and a trackless train that rolled thru their neighborhood. The kids were each given an engineer hat and train whistles as they boarded Austin’s party train. Party favors included Thomas tattoos, coloring paper, and homemade train-shaped crayons.
A cute robot-themed party from Jessica…I love the homemade beanbag toss.
Mandy threw a very cute dinosaur-themed birthday for her 3 and 5 year-old boys. She made a customized coloring book for the party favors with images of the boys’ favorite dinosaurs. Other items in the favor bag were a small box of crayons, 2 small toy dinosaurs, and a few snacks.
Kate Landers is known for throwing super cute kid parties. This Madeline-inspired birthday party is no exception! Check out those custom capes made for the guests. For more details look right here (thanks, Kate!).
How do you combine an ‘off-the-shelf’ kiddie idea with high style? Check out to see how she pulled off a lovely princess party. I almost missed that doll-in-cake with all of the pretty surrounding it! Love the color scheme, the punchy details, and of course- the pure joy covering the faces of all attending princesses. More .
Dinosaurs (which my son is currently obsessed with), dino-mite ideas and a Hicks invitation-inspired dinosaur cake…how can I resist this party? Answer: I can’t. I’m preparing myself for a dinosaur bash when my son turns three in November, so I love when I stumble upon great inspiration like this. Check out the dinosaur jello jigglers, the dino dig, and the deviled dinosaur eggs, among other things. Much more at delaney family blog.
Pin the tiara on the princess, among other fun activities- at this princess party.
