Wow. I took one glimpse at that silhouette-y map and thought, I’m gonna like this party. ‘Like’ is an understatement! The level of detail is astounding. The birthday guests were greeted by an ‘airline staff’, who took them on a tour of all seven continents. There was a boarding pass, a passport, and activities inspired by the continent they were visiting (example: snow playing in Antartica). What an inspired 5th birthday! Caroline’s take on a Wild Things party is pretty darn cute. More from her here!
Toby had a blast at his rocket-themed 3rd birthday. I love the restrained color palette and all of the homemade details. From house of giggles
Too cute to resist ladybug first birthday for cutie pie Ruby. Check out that homemade lady bug pinata! Much more here.
I’m smitten with pretty much all ‘fairy garden’ parties…there’s something about that theme that brings out the little girl in me. This gem from is chock full of girly loveliness. I would imagine the lucky birthday girl Kate was in heaven. For much more, check out this 3rd birthday party here, here and .
Carrie designed a chic monster bash for her son’s 3rd birthday. I love the color palette and all the thoughtful details! More at stationery scoop.
Amazingly, this is the first Harry Potter party I’ve come across- and it’s a winner! Check out the all of the activities for Nate’s 7th birthday- a game of Quidditch, potion making, a ‘sorting hat’ (using a baby monitor to make it ‘speak’), and a Golden snitch cake- which spilled out ‘every flavor beans’ when cut open. For more of Emily creative touches check out Martha Shmartha.
There is a first time for everything, they say- and this is definitely the first ‘indian elephant’ party I have ever seen! So many brilliant details from Scarlett Jane’s 2nd birthday to devour. Homemade elephant crayons, a smattering of Indian food and drinks, how-to’s for an elephant garland and craft station, along with much more from Prudent Baby.
…in Australia, to be exact. A beautiful rainbow and ruffles party for 6 year old Mia. For those of you planning a rainbow-inspired celebration, take note! I love the rain boots used for decor, pots of chocolate gold coins and rainbow pages to color. From Hip Hoorary.
