I stumbled upon these ‘chocorooms’ at World Market the other day and thought they would be perfect for a woodland-themed party! $2 a box and tasty, too.
I’m spending way too much time on these days seeking out the cleverest, cheapest, and cutest halloween costumes. If you’re , come check out if you’re looking for inspiration! My son currently wants to be a raccoon, but I’m guessing it might change 5 more times before we hit October.

If you ask me to my face, I’ll deny it. But it’s true. Though I’m loathe to admit it, I’m already thinking about Halloween costumes. There- I said it. I’m one of those moms. The truth is, however, that I am all thought and no action. My daughter’s birthday tends to fall on Halloween weekend, so I’m usually too preoccupied with that to figure out anything creative, not last minute and not store-bought. But this year, I’m telling myself it is going to be different! And I’m on a quest to spend as few dollars as possible.
With that in mind, I’m gathering inspiration and trying to find something that will suit our budget but most importantly, get our kids excited to dress up. If you are looking to be inspired as well (and are as big a fan of as I search high and low for the most clever Halloween costumes in all the land.

The transition from summertime to school days can be hard on everyone! I put together a couple of ideas for making your kiddo’s lunch extra special for the first week back at school.
From top: include stickers or small objects on the front of their lunch bag with cute tape- just make sure there are enough to share with new friends; let your kids decorate brown bags and remember the fun time with mom at lunch time; make a classic apple print motif using half an apple and poster paint.
