We recently returned from a nice little break at the beach with friends. Their family has graciously hosted us for the past couple of years, and I am always at a loss as to what to do as a thank you. This year, I gathered some shells at the beach and made necklaces with the kids when we returned home. They really got in the spirit of things and made sure to make some for themselves, as well. We included my new favorite chocolate bar (a sea salt caramel flavor), along with the necklaces and a leash (from Owen and Olivia) for their pup. A turtle card was reminiscent of our adventure to a turtle shelter and a leftover glassine envelope made a pretty enclosure for the necklaces.
