I’ve got a party crush on this surprise birthday from Twig and Thistle. I can’t get enough of the brilliant fake paper flames in the fire place! Wouldn’t it be a great way to make your fireplace feel merry even when the weather wasn’t cooperating with your warm and cozy mood? I’m definitely going to copy this at some point.

On another note… a Merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate the holiday and a Happy Holidays to those of you who don’t! I, for one, am treating myself to big ol’ massage tomorrow. I used to wait to treat myself to things like that until I felt that I ‘had time,’ but I’ve learned it actually helps me quiet my mind and be a more pleasant person if I do it in the midst of the season’s insanity.
